Preparing Tribes for Energy Ownership
Microgrid construction is the final step in energy development and the first step in energy ownership. And we’re here to help you confidently take both strides forward.
Tribal-First Construction Approach
From labor to leadership, we prioritize Tribal participation—creating local jobs, developing skills, and keeping economic benefits within the Nation.
Procurement That Meets Federal Standards
All materials and contracts follow strict compliance rules, including Buy American, Davis-Bacon, and Tribal employment rights ordinances, ensuring a clean audit trail and strong vendor accountability.
Built for Long-Term Resilience and Operation
Each system is constructed with durability, reliability, and ease of maintenance in mind. So your Tribe controls a clean energy asset built to serve for decades.
How We Build Clean Energy Systems That Last
Every project is different, but the steps to build a reliable, compliant, and community-aligned microgrid stay consistent.
1
Mobilize Construction Teams and Secure Materials
We coordinate delivery of materials to the site and onboard subcontractors, Tribal hires, and project leads—ensuring all personnel and equipment are ready before breaking ground.
2
Prepare the Site and Install Foundations
Civil crews clear the site, perform grading, and install foundations for solar arrays, battery enclosures, and any auxiliary systems—aligned with geotechnical and environmental assessments.
3
Install Equipment and Perform Electrical Work
Solar panels, batteries, inverters, and wiring are installed according to approved engineering plans. Licensed electricians manage all interconnections and safety requirements.
4
Commission Systems and Run Operational Tests
We activate the microgrid, run full functionality tests, and monitor system performance. Any needed adjustments are made to ensure reliable islanding and integration with existing infrastructure.
5
Conduct Final Inspection and Project Handover
Final walkthroughs are conducted with Tribal leadership and inspectors. We provide system documentation, training, and transfer full operational control to the Tribe.
